In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful |
1- |
Has (the importance of) the explanation about
the Overwhelming Event reached you (your mind)? |
2- |
Some faces on that Day (of Judgment) will be
humiliated, |
3- |
Having worked (so hard for worldly life) and
then worried, |
4- |
Getting into the Blazing Fire. |
5- |
They will be given to drink from a boiling
drink (of their sins). |
6- |
No food will they get but from a thorny
bitter plant (of their deeds), |
7- |
Which will neither nourish, nor give them any
relief from hunger. |
8- |
Other faces on that Day will be delighted. |
9- |
Glad and pleased for their good efforts
(during their lifetime on the earth). |
10- |
They will be in the lofty Garden (of
Paradise). |
11- |
They will not hear any nonsense or vain talk
there. |
12- |
There is a running spring there. |
13- |
There are high couches there, |
14- |
And cups set for use, |
15- |
And cushion set in rows, |
16- |
And fine carpets spread out, |
17- |
Why don't they (the disbelievers) look at the
camels, how they have been created. |
18- |
And at the sky how high it has been raised
high. |
19- |
And at the mountains how they are firmly
fixed (in earth). |
20- |
And at the earth how nicely it is spread out. |
21- |
So do remind people (O Muhammad), since you
are a reminder. |
22- |
You are not a dictator over them. |
23- |
However, the person who turns away and denies
the truth, |
24- |
Then God will punish him (or her) with the
greatest punishment. |
25- |
As indeed to Us will be their return. |
26- |
Then also it is for Us to call them to
account. |
